Mr. Li Ying is one of the rare lawyers in Chinese law firms, who is proficient in Chinese and foreign law, still active on the frontline with extremely rich practical experience.He is an experienced corporate transaction lawyer with nearly 30 years of experience in both the international and domestic markets and his principal practice areas are in Financing and M&A, establishment/change/restructuring of funds, corporate and commercial business (including difficult and complex legal facts).Especially cross-border business advising, drafting, negotiating and reviewing complex contracts in both English and Chinese, compliance Finance & Management), international trade and cooperation (such as compliance diagnosis, analysis and advice on international sanctions and export control,drafting and reviewing international trade/cooperation contracts in both English and Chinese), cross-border data compliance, etc. 

The team led by Mr. Li has provided long-term, stable and reliable legal services to many multinational companies, financial institutions, state-owned and private enterprises, and provided long-term, stable and reliable legal services on numerous transactions, innovative investments/mergers and acquisitions for MNCs and international financial institutions entering the China market, and on the landing, daily management, regulation, compliance, foreign exchange, finance and other issues of joint ventures, wholly foreign-owned enterprises, partnerships and other innovative financial instruments in China. Mr. Li also provided long-term, stable, and reliable legal services on numerous transactions, innovative investments/mergers and acquisitions for MNCs and international financial institutions entering the China market, and on the landing, daily management, regulation, compliance, foreign exchange, finance and other issues of joint ventures, wholly foreign-owned enterprises, partnerships and other innovative financial instruments in China. Mr. Li also advises several international private equity investors and private equity investors on the setting up, participation in and restructuring of investment funds (including various cutting-edge and innovative RMB fund structures and instruments), as well as their investment into China by various foreign private equity investors and private equity investors in a comprehensive, efficient, and precise manner. He also provides hands-on and full-service legal services to Chinese promoters, fund managers, private funds, and investment companies in relation to their going to sea, international and domestic layout, establishment, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, cross-border financing, and investment. 

Additionally, Mr. Li Ying has led and assisted the U.S. litigation team representing Chinese companies listed in the U.S. to respond to securities class action litigation, anti-bribery, anti-money laundering and white-collar crime proceedings, and to administrative and regulatory investigations.
