Ms. Gu's practice area is commercial and intellectual property dispute resolution. She has represented many domestic and foreign well-known companies in the Supreme People's Court, Beijing High People's Courts, intermediate People’s Courts of Beijing, people's courts of all districts in Beijing, and people's courts at all levels in Shanghai as well as arbitration cases before China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) and Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC). 

Representative Cases

· Representing a listed real estate group company in an equity transfer dispute case in Beijing Arbitration Committee;

· Representing a private fund manager in handling a partnership agreement dispute between the manager and other partners in a private fund management partnership, the relevant case of which was first instance tried by Beijing Chaoyang District People's Court, second instance tried by Beijing No.3 Intermediate People's Court, Beijing High People's Court, and retried by the Beijing High People's Court. In addition, representing a client to deal with a third-party lawsuit filed by the opposing party to Beijing No. 3 Intermediate People's Court for revocation of the relevant case;

· Representing a private fund manager in handling an investment subscription agreement arbitration case before China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission ("CIETAC") in connection with a private capital increase project;

· Representing a private fund manager in the People's Court of Haidian District, Beijing, and Beijing No. 1 Intermediate People's Court to handle the litigation cases regarding the partner's duty of loyalty with a private fund management enterprise;

· Representing a listed real estate group company in an arbitration case before China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission for a dispute over real estate merger and acquisition contracts;

· Representing a subsidiary company of a listed real estate group company in handling disputes over several housing sales contracts and disputes over objections to enforcement before the People's Court of Shunyi District, Beijing Daxing District, Beijing No. 2 Intermediate People's Court and Beijing No. 3 Intermediate People's Court;

· Representing a large private enterprise in an arbitration case regarding a dispute over a land use right transfer contract in the People's Court of Chaoyang District, Beijing;

· Representing a listed real estate company in handling a case of more than 10 owners suing to terminate the property in connection with a project in Beijing; Assisting the client to reach a settlement with the owners and achieve the client's goal;

· Representing the HK company in handling disputes over international goods sale contracts before Beijing No. 4 Intermediate People's Court and Beijing High People's Court;

· Representing a technology equipment company in an arbitration case regarding contract disputes filed before Beijing Chaoyang District People's Court, Beijing No. 3 Intermediate People's Court and retried before Beijing High People's Court;

· Representing an information Technology Co., Ltd. in People's Court in Beijing Haidian District to handle a number of cases with different Clients;

· Representing as the agent for a state sports administrative authority to handle an arbitration case of sponsorship contract dispute with the sponsor of the competition;

· Representing a case concerning the confirmation of the validity of an arbitration agreement on behalf of a state sports administrative department at Beijing No. 4 Intermediate People's Court, which is selected as one of the Ten Typical Cases of People's Courts in Serving and Safeguarding the Construction of Pilot Free Trade Zones;

· Representing an electronic technology company in Beijing Intellectual Property Court and the Supreme People's Court in dealing with a malicious intellectual property damage dispute lawsuit filed against the competing enterprise during the reorganization and listing;

· Dealing a film-related cooperative creation contract dispute in Beijing Intellectual Property Court and the Beijing High People's Court as an agent for a film and television company;

· Representing as an agent for an electronic competition team owned by a large internet platform to handle a dispute over a work contract between the platform and an electronic competition player;

· Representing a famous actor to initiate multiple copyright infringement disputes against the brand infringer;

· Representing a film and television company in handling the film and television investment contract dispute with the investor;

· Representing an MCN to deal with a brokerage contract dispute between an MCN and its contracted anchor;

· Representing an artist to deal with a brokerage contract dispute between the artist and a management company;

· Ms. Gu has also provided dispute resolution planning, negotiation, public relations, and legal consulting services to government agencies, state-owned enterprises, public institutions, and large enterprises including the State Sports Administration, Sports Association of China, large listed real estate groups, large private real estate companies, large Sino-foreign equity joint ventures, several movie companies, and large enterprises including but not limited to dispute resolution planning, negotiation, crisis relations, and legal consulting.
