James MacNutt graduated from prestigious Dalhousie University and University of Ottawa with a bachelor’s degree of Art and Law as well as a Certificate of Legislative Drafting respectively. He was called to the bar in 1969 and has been practicing law in Canada for 55 years until his retirement in 2024. He worked as the Private Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor of Prince Edward Island, Provincial Civil Servant of the Department of Justice and Secretary of PEI Branch of the Canadian Bar Association. 

        James MacNutt is also a productive author of a number of best-selling novels, historical and legendary stories, which is widely welcomed in North America. His books are frequently listed on the bestsellers in renowned publisher in New York.
